Bret J. Dunlap:
As the founder and CEO of Advanced Mobile, LLC, Bret has assumed many corporate responsibilities including managing the company’s strategic direction,product development, and sales marketing. Prior to founding Advanced Mobile, in 1989 Bret co-founded Advanced Telecom Services, Inc. (ATS)-a leading interactive voice response company specializing in 800 and 900 services. ATS has provided audiotext applications for hundreds of media companies within the newspaper, radio and TV industries. Over the last 18 years, ATS has grown its business entirely through internal cash flow, reaching its peak sales year of $61 million in 2001.
Bret held many positions within ATS. From 1989 to 1996 he served as Chief Financial Officer; from 1997 to 1999 Bret was Managing Director of ATS’ UK office based in London. From 2000 to 2003 he served as Chief Operating Officer and from 2004 to 2006, he served as President of ATS.
Bret was responsible for starting the ringtone business within ATS in 2001 through the creation of two B2C websites: http://www.ringingphone.com and http://www.monstertones.com. Bret oversaw the licensing of content, development of an e-commerce site, the mobile technology associated with delivering binary content to disparate handsets through various carrier operating systems, and the day-to-day administration and human-resources necessary to operate the business division. The ringtone business model was based primarily on subscriptions. Ringingphone had 28,000 subscribers to its service paying $5.00 per month. Ringingphone.com reached a top 5,000 Alexa ranking and consistently averaged over 1 million unique visitors a month. Bret also engineered the sale of ATS’ ringtone business to Zim Technologies in April, 2006.
Robert Jay Bentz:
Bob was co-founder of Advanced Telecom Services, Inc. (ATS) in 1989. In his role as head of marketing and sales, he guided the growth of the company from a start-up to over $61 million in annual sales with offices in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic. He is the author of the best selling book on the 900 industry “Opportunity is Calling: How to Start Your Own Successful 900 Number.”
The Pennsylvania native and former West Virginia and Connecticut resident is a frequent speaker at industry trade shows and has been interviewed on television and published in numerous publications, including Money magazine. Prior to joining ATS in 1989, Bentz worked in television advertising sales and management positions with Post-Newsweek and Capital Cities/ABC television stations. He received a BS in journalism from West Virginia University in 1981 and an MBA in marketing from Marshall University in 1983.
Richard Masterson:
An entrepreneur active in technology, real estate, hospitality, philanthropy and private equity.
In 1994, Masterson founded US Interactive, an internet professional services firm with clients including Microsoft, IBM, American Express, Disney, Toyota and the US Senate.
From 1999 to 2004, Masterson served as Chairman of GivingCapital. By partnering with Wall Street clients such as Morgan Stanley, Solomon Smith Barney and others, GivingCapital raised over $400 Million for charity before being acquired by Kintera, a publicly held company.
Since 1999, Masterson has successfully developed real estate in Florida, Pennsylvania, Canada, Costa Rica and New Jersey.
Frank Washington:
The Chairman/CEO of Tower of Babel LLC, which owns KBTV-CA, channel 8 in Sacramento. Mr. Washington also has significant ownership interests in two other broadcast television operations, KBCB in Bellingham, Washington and WHTV in Lansing, Michigan, as well as in Qantum Communications LLC, a broadcast radio group with 35 stations.
Eric Meltzer: 
Eric has over 20 years of investment banking experience on Wall Street and in the investment banking group of a major money center bank as well as with a local Philadelphia investment bank. During his career, Eric has assisted numerous companies in raising more than $500 million. He has helped companies raise capital through senior and subordinated debt, as well as through venture capital and initial public offerings. Eric has represented both sellers and buyers in a variety of mergers and acquisition transactions and has prepared numerous valuation analyses and fairness opinions.
Eric was a vice president at Brenner Securities, a Wall Street investment bank specializing in telecommunications. Eric also worked in the Institutional and Financial Futures Group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He began his career in Chemical Bank¹s Investment Banking Group.
In addition to his investment banking experience, Eric spent three years as the senior financial officer of an early stage growth company, where his principal focus was raising capital and acquisitions. In addition, Eric has started (or helped to start) seven companies in the telecommunications sector. Together with former FCC Commissioner Harold Furchtgott-Roth, Eric was a founder a founder of Oneida Communications, a venture-backed aggregator of WiMAX spectrum. Eric also co-founded Saber Communications, an aggregator of 800 MHz spectrum along the Gulf Coast. More recently, Eric is a founder of the Broad Ventures group of companies which has acquired Charles Street Partners, a fixed wireless provider financed by ABRY Partners and the Rural Utilities Service as well as TVMAX Holdings, Inc. the provider of triple play services in Houston over its 500 mile fiber plant. TVMAX was acquired from Cerberus Capital Management and Franklin Templeton Investments
Eric has served as a presenter on the subject of capital raising at numerous professional conferences.
Eric earned a MBA from the University of Chicago, where he specialized in finance. He also holds a BA from the University of Rochester, where he majored in political science and Russian language.
